"Friendly Folks in a Friendly Country Atmosphere"
on the Largest campground on RT 2

May 14 - October 11, 2010
Hello! We
are Beth, Nick and Don. We have a private owned campground and
are proud hosts of the Skowhegan/Canaan award winning KOA in
Maine. We take pride in being known as the cleanest campground
in Central Maine. Let us fill you in on some things about our campground.
Young'uns will have hours of fun at the newly
renovated playground.
Kids can head to the new game room for arcade games,
ping-pong, pool, air hockey and tunes on the jukebox or shoot
hoops at our brand new basketball court along with our new 18
hole mini golf. We have 83 acres
for you to explore whether it be for hiking, biking, bird
watching, or berry picking. The options are endless. We are
centrally located to Maine's wilderness and rocky sea coast
with loads of family fun things to see and do. Join us in
moose country along with hay wagon, trolley and firetruck
rides, swimming, boat rentals and fun cycles that are also
part of the family fun.
Bring a tent or try a cozy kabin,
kottage or LODGE. Lots of grass, shade and long, easy
pull-throughs sites. Easy day trips to Acadia National Park,
Lake George Regional Park, LL Bean, Moxie Falls, Moosehead
Lake, Fort Knox, Beautiful Belfast/Camden and our scenic rocky
Maine coast with trademark Maine Lighthouses. We're a Moose-SeE
place!
Try Grandma Don's kafe for some homemade goodies! Yummy!

Moxie
Falls
Mesmerizing
beauty at your doorstep.
With a vertical drop of nearly 100 feet, Moxie Falls
is one of Maine's highest and most beautiful
waterfalls. A short walk takes you through
Maine's true wilderness and towering pine trees as you
make your way to the falls. You can bring a picnic
lunch to enjoy by the side of the falls, or explore a
network of New England hiking trails in the wooded
area around the falls.
